BibleQuote ( JesusChrist.ru Software) is a Bible study tool that started in 1998 in Moscow, Russia. Its Russian name is "Tsitata iz Biblii" (Цитата из Библии), which means "a quote from the Bible", shortened to BibleQuote in English. It originally comprised a simple Bible reader with the ability to search and quote. Later, with the invention of modules (texts in open format, driven by simple ini files), BibleQuote soon became a popular tool in Russia, used to handle a lot of Bible translations and related books.

In 2000, Mission Aviation Fellowship picked up BibleQuote as their tool to distribute Christian materials for missionaries seminary students in Russia and the former USSR. Thus, the Bibliologia CD was produced. Later, the tool has been enhanced to serve also Arabic materials for use in the Islamic world, and the study of Muslim culture.

At the time of writing (December, 2005), BibleQuote is a project in progress. Developers are planning to start a cross-platform project based on BibleQuote/Bibliologia ideas, aimed at the growing user bases of Linux, Mac OS X, as well as online users.

Timothy Ha of JesusChrist.ru is the original author of BibleQuote and current leader of the project.
