==Introduction==
Bier Suppe is a
webcomic about Rudy Immenhauser, a drunk hunter who can speak with
animals and his emergence into a new life where he finds he isn't
quite as normal as he had considered. The lives of other characters
are liberally thrown in creating a plot that's often hidden within
comic situations. The authors have taken time in creating a site
featuring some interactivity and an expansion of the main comic
into a well-stocked profile page.

Rudy's encounter with a killer deer by the name of El Toro whom he

his alchohol-induced imagination and several other characters are

The Characters
Rudy Immenhauser
was born in Austria. When he was 14, his parents sent him to his
relatives in South Texas. Apart from his ostensive shyness, he
appears to be a completely normal everyday boring middle-class
family man of the inebriate redneck stock. Looks can be
deceiving.
Rudy believes in nothing, has faith in no one, and
lives primarily to provide for his family, go hunting on weekends,
occasionally loiter with family members he can tolerate, and of
course, get drunk. He is, for the most part, also a handyman,
cabinet-maker, and inside carpenter.
Esmerelda
Immenhauser is Rudy's wife and is more commonly known as
‘Izzy’. The two met in high school and were off-handedly friends.
Through a turn of events, Rudy had indirectly lost Izzy her full
scholarship, and decided that he would pay for her college to make
up for it. They eventually became more than friends and married
while Izzy was still going to school. Since she graduated, she's
been the steady income earner during the slow times. Their
companionship can be described as distant but no less
valued.
Andrew Immenhauser is Rudy's first
cousin. Rudy was sent to America as a teenager to live with Andy's
parents. The two were raised together after that, and Andrew has a
certain respect for Rudy. Andrew was a fat fantasy/RPG kid who was
bullied a lot, and being around Rudy inspired him to stand up for
himself and to take better care of himself. He did two years in the
military and came home to take a career in law enforcement. He
lives in Lavaca county in a doublewide on his parents'
property.
Iggy Apostal is Rudy's oldest brother
in law. He prefers to be known by ‘Iggy’ – he hates his given name.
He is somewhat of a loner, but likes to occasionally leave the
house and inspire others to be irritated with him. He has an
opinion on everything, and doesn't seem to care that nobody else
cares about his opinions.
He has a BFA, but he works as a
bouncer and bartender because he doesn't quite fit in with other
creative types. One of the things about his job he most enjoys are
the occasional moments when he has full liberty to beat someone up
for being stupid. He lifts wieghts and has a healthy diet, but
still can't loose the fat he's had all his life. He has a secret
hobby, he likes to make small press comics and publish them under
different pseudonyms.
Anton Apostal is Iggy and
Izzy's youngest sibling and Rudy's youngest brother-in-law. Anton
never took life seriously. That trait didn't save him from burning
out on life. He discovered he could make money with his hobby and
has become a valued member of the local cartel community. He was
married until his wife became a penticostal and booted him out.
Since then he's lived with his brother, Iggy, who reluctantly took
him in.
Norm and Dorma are observers on the
highway of life… and death. Two buzzards with one common purpose in
life: to clean up the discontinued items in the biological pool.
They enjoy watching the pathetic and vain goings on of the
creatures of planet earth, and providing one another with
entertaining (and not so entertaining) commentary on the
subject.
Given Rudy's ability to talk with them and their
respective ages, Norm and Dorma have a particular interest in
him.
Doug Comacho was a gainfully employed
salesman until a co-worker he trained discovered he was on
medication for schizophrenia. Although his severance was
meticulously devoid of citing medical reasons, he was promply
dismissed. His difficulty finding equal employment caused him to
lose his house and his fiance. He currently lives in his truck and
in rental storage spaces. Since losing his benefits he's discovered
that the street value of his prescription medication and of other
controlled substances can be quite a bit cheaper, or at least more
readily available.
Carlisle Hollingsworth is a
regular at the tavern where Iggy works as a bouncer and bartender.
Carl is also an active member of his church. His achoholism is the
only thing holding him back from making a higher position within
his congregation. Apart from his drinking, he has no other known
vices and is known to be somewhat of a self-righteous prude. He and
Iggy are known to engage in frequent discussions leading to
arguments about theology, religion and culture.
