Big Brother 2010 is the upcoming eleventh and final series of the UK reality television series, of Big Brother (UK). The show was axed by Channel 4 on 26 August 2009 and the eleventh series will be its last to be broadcast on this channel.[1] The series will broadcast on Channel 4 throughout the Summer of 2010. It will be produced by Remarkable Pictures, a division of Endemol. This series of the programme has been confirmed since 2006 as part of a £180 million contract between Endemol and Channel 4.[2]

Auditions and Pre-Series

Open-Auditions for Big Brother 11 started in Manchester on 15th and 16th January 2010 and continued in Dublin on 19th January 2010, Cardiff on 23rd January 2010, Glasgow on 30th January 2010 they finished in London on 6th and 7th February 2010. [3]

Applicants for Big Brother 11 had to be 18 by May 2010 to audition for the show, however for Series 9 and Series 10 applicants had to be 18 by June in those years. It is therefore speculated that Big Brother 11 may start on or before Sunday 30th May 2010.[4][5]
