Big Lokote is a controversial
Chicano rapper from the streets of
East Los
Angeles (Cuatro FlatsX3)in
Southern California. Known for his
bold but true lyrics he is well establish in the HI-POWER
Entertainment label.
Victor Morales (Big Lokote) was born in
El Paso, Texas in 1971
but raised in the mean streets of East Los Angeles. Victors
profession isn't only in the music business but also in the tattoo
industry. Involved in the lowrider chicano culture since his teens,
his pride and passion has evolved from his artwork of chicano
tattoos and murals from East L.A and the Inland Empire to his
successful music career within the chicano HIPOWER label.
His
first CD: DIA DE LOS MUERTOS was released in 2005 and was a
definite success. His CD featured well known chicano rappers such
as Mr. Capone-e, Mr. Criminal, Stomper, and Lady Pinks (all from
the HIPOWER label) as well as new chicano rappers ALA (from Chino-
Inland Empire), Pythan, Jackal, Slick and Mr. Blazer. Also involved
with his sound prodution is Joe Alfaro (Little Green Studios from
the Inland Empire) and his cousin JoJo Valdez from South Ontario.
Victors next CD will be released in August of 2006.
