Big Pines is an unincorporated community in the San Gabriel Mountains of Los Angeles County, California, United States. It is in the Angeles National Forest, and is the highest elevation on the San Andreas Fault. It is a popular ski area close to Los Angeles, hosting Mountain High Ski Resorts. The place borders west of Wrightwood, California a San Bernardino County, California city.
