around bicycling in the NYC-metro area and beyond...it was founded in 2002 by ringleader Clarence Eckerson Jr. - a bicycle advocate and filmmaker who convinced friends and fellow cyclists to join the crusade to make NYC a better place to bicycle and enlighten and cajole the non-riding public to riding a bike.
