Bilisht (Greek: Βίγλιστα Viglista[1]) is a city of about 12,000 people. It is the local capital of Devoll District, south-eastern Albania. The city is 9 km from the Greek border at Kapshtica. The Greek town across the border is Krystallopigi in Florina Prefecture. This city is 800-850 meters above sea level and has a continental climate with cool summers and cold winters. The majority of the inhabitants are Muslim and there is also a significant Orthodox minority. The football club is Bilisht Sporti.
