Bill Blankenship (born ) is an American football coach. He currently serves as wide receivers coach at University of Tulsa under head coach Todd Graham and offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn. Priorly, Blankenship coached 14 seasons at Union Public Schools in Tulsa, where he compiled a record of 154-26. His teams qualified for the state playoffs 14 times, reached the quarterfinals 10 times and the semifinals in nine seasons. Blankenship's teams made the state championship game eight consecutive times — 1998-he coached at Edmond where he lost in the first round of the play offs with teams loaded with D1 players like Che Foster. His players in Edmond found out he was going to Union in the Paper. Edmond beat Union in the play offs the next 2 years
2005. He decided to leave Tulsa Union in 2005 in order to pursue a career in the collegiate ranks, but eventually had to sit out a year, before he was hired by Graham to coach at his alma mater.
