William "Bill" Phillips is a current City Council

Aliso Viejo, California. He served
as the city's Mayor for the year of
2004, and as the city's Mayor Pro Tem for the year of
2003.
City
Council
Bill Phillips has lived in Aliso Viejo since
1989. He soon became a
prominent member of the Aliso Viejo Community Association and the
Aliso Viejo Cityhood Committee. Bill represents the city of Aliso
Viejo as an alternate on the Laguna Canyon Foundation and the
Coastal Greenbelt Authority. Upon Aliso Viejo's incorporation on
July 1,
2001, he was elected to City Council. Bill
served as Mayor Pro Tem for the year of
2002, as Mayor for the year of
2003, and was re-elected for another four year
term as City Council in
2004.
Biography
Bill holds a Bachelor of
Architecture from
Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, the
alma mater of convicted murderer
Scott Peterson, and he currently works
as an urban design consultant. Bill currently resides in
Aliso Viejo, California with his
wife and two sons. He is a board member for the Saddleback Memorial
Hospital Foundation and Saint Mary and All Angels School. He has
also done extensive work with the Urban Land Institute, the
American Planning Association, and the Disney G.O.A.L.S. Program.
