Billserv was an eletronic bill presentment and payment company
founded in 1998 by David Jones, Michael Long, and Louis Hoch. The
company quickly became a leader in the space by gathering contracts
with many large billing organizations and raising over $48 Million
dollars. The company went public in November of 1998 under the
symbol NASD: BLLS and achieved a market cap of over $750MM in late
1999. The company fell on hard times during the burst of the dot
com bubble and eventually the majority of the assets were sold to
Harbor Payments in 2003 and the company changed names to
PaymentData Systems and now trades under the stock symbol
