He
is a person dressed in a large bantam hen costume, wearing a full
City football
kit over the costume itself. His involvement is largely limited
to visibility due to the person being stifled by the costume
itself. He wanders around the pitch before the game and during half-time
waving, and occasionally takes part in penalty
shoot-outs as the goalkeeper involving match-day mascots or
children from local schools.
It is not known for sure, but it is
believed that the suit is inhabited by Michael Fearnley of
Queensbury.
