Billy Club is a social organisation (specifially Guild or Clan) involved mainly in Video Games with possible future plans of extending to other environments. Established officially in 2002 and currently consisting of close friends.

Origin

The term "Billy Club" was derived when a handful of real-life friends from the Mansfield area in United Kingdom began playing the game World of Warcraft and wanted a name for the newly formed group of comrades. In late 2005 Upon killing an-ingame monster one of the founding members had an item drop with the name "Billy Club" it was immediately decided that this name fit perfectly and has been used ever since.
The members are well known in the World of Warcraft community for being skillful players and are also largely feared by people on the Stormrage-EU, Vek'Nilash-EU and Wildhammer-EU servers alike.

Controversy

An infamous member of Billy Club, Gandi, came under scrutiny after an incident involving several players in-game. Because of his immense power as a mage (a class in game) he was largely thought of as the best on the server. He was also a well-respected member of the guild Generations until an argument with the leaders "Arion" and "Protenis" broke out. After this, Gandi declared war on Generations and has since hounded their every move and slain them without mercy.
Darkplace was also a member of Generations, he fought many feuds against the oppresive dictatorship of Arion and his minions and in protest to the poor treatment of his ally (Gandi) he quit the guild and vowed to avenge him. Gandi recieved critisism as a consequence to this event and players blacklisted him regardless of the truth. A number of other Billy Club members including Madmeater and Murf have also been involved with Generations and subjected to the harsh guild treatment.
Common Terminology

Many phrases have originated from Billy Club and is now colloquial language used by all members, one such saying is 'Tears' referring to the action of crying (secretion from the tear ducts) when someone is disagreeing. For example, if an argument arises it can commonly be ended by a participant calling 'Tears' signalling the person of whom they are arguing with is upset about a particular thing and is being childish and crying.
Variations of this saying include 'Baby Tears' 'Droplets' 'Waaaaaagh' (in relation to a baby crying) and reference to the popular Bullet For My Valentine song Tears Don't Fall.
Another regular phrase used by the members is 'B1N' or simply 'Bin' in which a particular joke or comment not having the desired impact (un-funny) is branded a 'B1N' to elaborate on it's failure. The term was introduced by a member and quickly established as a new saying. A common trait if some one has been 'B1nned' is to have them moved into a consequent channel on Ventrilo for a 'timeout' or to be mocked and excluded from conversation. This evolved from 'Tumbleweed' which is used as the generic representation of an un-funny gesture in comical media productions.
Variations of this include 'Ha-Ha' (with an exaggerated length to sarcastically compensate for it's intended effect).
The 'Potato' was a legitimate reason used by one of the members to excuse themselves from a social event planned by the other members. It has since been turned into a phrase that indicates if someone is using a false statement purely because of not wishing to attend. The member of whom established it, refused to dine out with the other members as he had already eaten and when asked for a reason, replied that he had 'eaten a jacket potato' and believed it would be a waste of money, eventhough he made efforts to negotiate an extended meeting. It is now used jokingly if someone does not want to participate in a present or future event.
Alternative versions of this include 'Pulling a potato' 'Potato with chilli' (or various other toppings) and naming a recently digested food in it's place can also qualify.
