College career

Pittman had his most productive season in 2005, where he combined with former Texas quarterback, Vince Young, for 34 passes for 750 yards, averaging 22.1 yards a catch and scoring 5 TD's. Pittman was suspended for the first three games of the 2007 season for "infringement of amateurism rules". According to Pittman, he drove a friend's car for the duration of this summer, which classifies as an improper benefit.[2]

High School career

He attended C.H. Yoe High School in Cameron, TX. Where he started at Quarterback for the Yoemen for four years and accounted for 7,090 yards and 66 TDs during his career. His senior year he was 3rd team 3A THSCA All-State and District 18-3A MVP. He once achieved a "playstation game" by connecting on 13-of-19 passes for 223 yards and a score and rushed 24 times for 267 yards and two TDs against Waco Connally.

Pre-Draft workouts

Pittman ran a slow 40 time of 4.76 seconds at the NFL Combine. At Texas's Pro Day, he improved it slightly to that of 4.71 seconds and had a vertical leap of 32.5 inches, a very low number for a wide receiver.
