Re-reading several times I have concluded there is nothing I can
change, I read the rules and also that the great thing about WIKI
is that it does not have to be 'perfect writing we all aren't
scholars". Looking at another
artist whom I admire Billy Bob Thornton it describes his '
behavior's and the fact that he is scared of " Antique Furniture
and even mentions someone elses name.
Is this
relevent?
True?
Verifiable? This
is me, below local searches will confirm, quotes of " he's a genius
" were taken out, now how about Jaco Pastorius?
We love and respect him, so anything goes, it goes
to show you that when youn are nobody you are nobody which changes
the rules, can we not make wiki this, fairness?
I think that is the goal here, factual, simple
information, I myself will keep a good lookout for ' self
promotional web-sites here" its anoying there is enough of that
already. This is basic
information to be found by press that soemtimes cantacts me about
trivial inofrmation that they can find and get all the background
they need.
Can someone with
good explanation tell me what is wrong with what is
written?

Music
Billy Yeager grew up on movie film sets in the
early 1960's watching his father and famous aunt Bunny Yeager
filming movies at the Luke Moberly Studios based in Davie
Florida. It was here
that he began to follow in hs fathers footsteps and become a
musician.
Billy is a
self taught musician who learned how to play his fathers homemade
guitar( made out of a dresser drawer) at 6 years
old. By the time he was
15 he learned how to play every instrument.
He produced, recorded and marketed his first 2
albums "Whats it Gonna Take" (1983) and "Be My Valentine"
(1985). Both albums only
gained him local noriety and his songs won several Nationwide Song
contests such as Star Search and Miller High Lifes Rock to Riches
Talent Search. It was 18
years later that Billy met with Grammy Award Winner Bruce Hornsby
who was given a demo tape of Billy's 4 track recordings and put
Billy in contact him with his manager ( at that time) Tim
Neece. Tim Neece managed
to get a developement deal with Capitol
Records. By this time
Billy had over 700 songs he had written and recorded on an old 4-
track Fostex recorder.
Capitol Records fronted the artist 5000.00 to
produce a better sounding demo.
In 1992 Capitol Records turned the tapes down
as did also all the other Record Labels.
Prior to this for 20 years Billy had already
been submitting his music to the Record Labels and had collected
100's of rejection letters and was filming his life of his struggle
to get signed to a recording contract since
1981. He continued
writing, submitting and being rejected for the next 5 years.
It
was one night while watching the movie Tootsie with Dustin Hoffman
that inspired Billy to organize and plan an elaborate scheme and
become someone else, that someone would be "Jimmy Story" the
"supposed" Long lost son of Jimi Hendrix.
The Hoax
Billy began forging evidence and creating bogus papers,
documents, birth certificates, lost Hendrix Recordings, hand written
notes and lyrics by Jimi Hendrix. He placed advertisements in well
known music magazines such as Rolling Stone where he submitted an
ad for a 100,000.00 Reward for the "where abouts" of Jimmy Story
The Long Lost Son of Jimi Hendrix.
This caught the attention of other well known
publications and consiquently word spread about the news of Jimi
Hendrix's illegitamte son.
For 1 full year Billy dressed up in elaborate
costumes talked with a slur and appeared at events, interviews
,performing and promoting himself also on the phone as his own
manager "Mark Smith".
The "Jimmy Story" story eventually was
publisised nationwide and Billy recieved the attention he had been
struggling to recieve for 23 years.
The Jimmy Story> Story
Jimi
Hendrix had an affair with Jimmy Story's mother " Sunshine Story "
who had a child ( Jimmy) and feared for her life and spent years
hiding and not telling her son who his famous father
was. She did this
because she believed that Jimi Hendrix was murdered and people were
out to get her to find the "lost Bolero tapes " rare lost
recordings that Billy had read about in underground
publications. To make
sure the press beleived the murder conspiracy story, tapes,
music, lyrics written on napkins and other items left by hendrix
Billy became a certifed graphologists having all his documents
"certified". He then
posed as his own manager and attorney and marketed the story and
submitted the items for consideration along with the certified
"hand writting analisis" ( Graphologist Steven Grimes)/Billy Yeager
. He also dyed his skin
permanatly black using Rit Clothes dye in the bathtub for permanant
results.
Filmmaker
Billy filmed the Jimi Hendrix hoax
for 1 year with cameras as he had been filming his life all
along. For the next 4
years Billy filmed, edited, re-edited and then sent the raw footage
of his life story to Kevin Smith who wrote and directed Clerks,
Chasing Amy, and Dogma.
Kevin recomened that John Pierson ( respected
film rep for Spike Lee, Michael Moore, Richard Linklater) watch the
footage and John decied to feature the story of the making of the
film itself on Split Screen on the Bravo and The Independent Film
Channel. In 1997 just
before The Blair Witch Project was accepted into Sundance and
realeased by Artisan Distribution the creators and director of The
Blair Witch Project> "Dan Myrick" took an interest in Billy's
homemade documentrary film.
The Blair Witch team edited a version and it
was submitted to Sundance Film Festival in 1999 but was
rejected. Billy kept
filming 4 more years adding to his story about
music, success, desire, determination, fame, and edited it into a heart
felt story about his father and son
relationship. Ray Yeager
was opperated on for cancer in the throat from 40 years of smoking
yet continued to do interviews for the film but passed away in
2002. Billy finished the
film in it's entirety and the final edited version was finished in
2005.
Billy Yeager then put his efforts into filmmaking and he now
writes, produces, directs and acts in his own
films. He currently
lives in Lake Worth Florida where he continues to write and record
music, teaches acting and travels to exotic locations for his
films. A Perfect Song
premiered at The Delray Beach Film Festival in
2006.
