Billy DenMead is from the small town of Brocton near Buffalo, New
York. Soon after high school, he found the music scene in
Cleveland, Ohio was the place to be. He helped form Alexander with
Steve Keopka, Jeff Hair, Frank Pannell, and Eric Alexander. They
quickly became very popular and successful on the Cleveland music
circuit. Billy left Alexander to form Dorian Gray with Jani Lane
(Warrant) on drums, Dave Chamberlain (DBW Productions) on lead
guitar and Kevin Ryan (Pat Travers, Rick Derringer) on bass. Dorian
Gray made Orlando, FL their home. They found immediate success
playing clubs and concerts all over the southern United States.
Jani Lane moved to L.A. to front his own band Warrant. He was
replaced on drums by Morgan Evans. Dorian Gray rocked Central
Florida for years until Billy decided to leave the music business
to raise a family.
The kids are older and it's time to rock and
roll again! Billy spent the last 8 months writing and recording in
his old pal Dave Chamberlain's DBW Productions studio in suburban
Los Angeles, California. The two together along with Steven Sweet
(Warrant) on drums have just finished a phenomenal sounding debut
CD called Me. Billy's melodic vocals and Dave's sensational guitar
playing and producing have turned out a top notch project.
His
album "Me" is available at CDFreedom.com, CDBaby.com and now on
ITunes. Billy was recently chosen as the December's Independent
Artist of the Month at www.powerhouserock.net
