The Birch Hills Short Cuts are a Midget Baseball team that played
their expansion year in the North East Baseball League in the 2006
baseball season. They did not have a homefield in 2006, so they
played their home games either in Melfort at Spruce Haven Park or
in Prince Albert at Andy Zwack Field. Only three players graduated
in 2006 from the team, which had a losing record of 1 win and 8
losses. There are rumors circulating that the Short Cuts may have
their own field if they return for the 2007
season.
