Björgvin Páll Gustavsson (born May 24, 1985) is an Icelandic handball player who currently plays for Bittenfeld.

Björgvin Páll was born in Hvammstangi the year of 1985 but he grew up in Kópavogur, he is the oldest child of four, he has two brothers Axel Birgir, Magnús Felix and two sisters Berglind Sif and Helga Lind.

Björgvin started showing sports interest very quickly at the age of nine, Björgvin and his friend Steinþór Þorsteinsson started in handball with HK a team from Kópavogur but they transferred over to Víkingur because they never got to play, after two years with Vikingur they went back to HK. Handball wasn't his number 1 sport, he played basketball, soccer and Handball was nr.3 until he had to choose which of those three he wanted to compete in, he decided to go on with handball because he felt he could go furthest in Handball.

He plays as a goalkeeper for the Icelandic National team.

Björgvin participated in the 2008 summer Olympics in Beijing. Where he played in a big role as a goalkeeper having over 40 saves in the semi and quarter finals.
