BlaK is an Australian Metal band, formed in early
2006 in South Australia, Adelaide. Until recently, the bands lead
singer and bassist left the band, leaving just two lead guitarists
and a drummer. The band is currently searching for a lead singer
and a bassist, postponing their release of their single “The
Holocaust” until at least a bassist is recruited.
This next
section taken from the bands myspace:
BlaK is an alternative
Metal band from Adelaide. The band started early in July
2005.4-Signs was our original name and the music we
played was alternative Grunge/Rock, doing covers of Nirvana, OST
ect.In September 2005, our lead guitarist left the band
because his family moved to New Zealand because of his parents
work.In January 2006, our lead singer Tom Lennard also
left to join another band. This left our band with just a
drummer, bassist and guitarist.Around August, bassist
Andy invited his old friend Matt to try out for our band as a
guitarist.A week later we all decided that Matt clicked
well with our group and he joined.About a month after
Matt joined, we change our name to BlaK and our style of
music.BlaK became our new name, our music style also
changed from Grunge/Rock to Metal.
BlaK—–
have reported recently:
Sadly our bassist Andy has recently
left the band, mainly to start his own Alternative Grunge
band.Until we find a singer and new bassist, vocals will
be shared between our two guitarists and the bass will be played by
different musicians at different points in time. Our Demo
‘The Holocaust’ will be delayed because of the recent loss of our
bassist and will NOT feature any songs previously recorded with our
former bassist. The demo will consist of about 5 songs and
will be released with a CD.
