Black LUEsday is an event that occurred on the GameFAQs message board Life, the Universe, and Everything, or LUE. It is considered by LUE to be one of the worst events in their history.

Introduction

LUE is a message board on the GameFAQs forum. It was originally created by the site admin, CJayC, as a place for serious discussion of religion and philosophical topics. It was a great success, and intricate discussions took place daily on the board. But after a while, when the GameFAQs forum was no longer new and hundreds of new users were joining daily, the board started to decline. As the board was a secret board, new users would come in and ask (usually lacking proper spelling and grammar) what the board was and what it was for. Trolls would also come and flame users in serious topics, especially religion-discussing topics, which attracted trolls and atheists to flame. After a while, CJayC got tired of all of the constant chaos and raised the Karma requirement of the board to 75. Many of the new users and trolls were banished while most of the intelligent users stayed in the depths of the forum.
