"Black Starfish" is a small band of teenagers all from Fowler Middle School. The band was founded in 2007 by the guitarist Jordan Gensler and took in the name in early 2008. The band gained recognition by performing at their school events.

Manager

Black Starfish's current manager is Phillip Kern, and early member of the band. There were rumors that Black Starfish was going to bring Phillip back into the band as banjo but the idea was abandoned after popular belief. Phillip travels with the band and helps provide necessary equipment.

Gigs

One World Celebration - Black Starfish recently played at this event at Fowler Middle School. Black Starfish played Never (without vocals), and Shine.<br /><br />
Black Starfish is currently available for gigs in the Portland area.
