Black Vader is a character from the extended Star Wars universe. He was raised as a Sith Lord from child hood by Darth Vader but brought over to the good side of the force by Luke Skywalker. He is the first Jedi to use the dark side Sith powers for the purpose of good.

He was only mentioned by George Lucas in discussions over the future films in the Star Wars series that will fall outside the continuity of the original two trilogies.

The Hughes Brothers are planning on directing and writing a film focused on the character of Black Vader and will cast Wesley Snipes in the role.

He wears a suit of armor much like Darth Vader's except it is yellow and exposes his face.
