The Company

Blackarms Studios is a fan-based company that makes fan games, most of which starring or having to do with SEGA's mascot, Sonic The Hedgehog. Currently, their fan game lineup is Shadow The Hedeghog: Symbols Of Destiny, Sonic Genesis: Online, and Sonic Rapid. Blackarms Studios was founded November, 2005, by the leaders of Blackarms Studios, Blackarms and Three60. Blackarms was the man who worked and made the fangames while Three60 made the website, downloads available, and his own stuff to contribute. Blackarms Studios also throws a yearly celebration July 11th (Blackarms Birthday) to July 16th (Three60's birthday). During these 6 days, they release everything that they have been working on the past year and encourage others to release stuff along with them. This 6 day period is known as "Blackarms Studios Release Week".

The forums, which Blackarms and Three60 were skeptical about, turned into a pleasant suprise. Although there weren't many members, the few that were there contributed a great deal to the forums, and by month 6, the forums reached it's 1,000th topic, with the main site having over 5,000 views and over 17,000 posts on the forums, all in a mere 6 months.

Blackarms Studios continues to grow, and with their first fangames steadily coming into completion, it seems the Studio might just stay for a while to come.

Other titles they are currently working on include Tales Of Link, a Zelda fangame, and Sonic Speed, a secret project Blackarms is working on.

Blackarms Studios is slowly growing, rated a 2 in importance by Google, but they still have a long road ahead of them.

The Games

The Board

Blackarms Studios pocesses a hefty and entertaining board which is almost rule free. all there is to follow is no porn, no sexiscm, and no racism. Besides that, your free to post whatever, though to take notice, there are certain rules to certain boards (like the Archie Sonic board and the RPG board). Another sort of rule Three60 came up with was account deletion. If you have not posted in over a month and have only made a couple of post to the board, your account will be deleted. There are many constant members, and receives about on average about 50-100 post per day, unless it's a slow day or a busy day.

Board controversy

The BAS forum is currently thriving, but a few members constantly attempt to hinder not only the board, but human progress in whole.

The name that immediately comes to most of the board members' minds is "Holy_Hobo", the second being "jez".

The first major "war" started when Hobo went from being a nice guy to being a pissant because the user and known smartmouth Barry criticized his art. Hobo constantly made snide remarks to Barry. So Barry responded with equally snide remarks. Eventually, tired of life but not wanting to commit suicide, Hobo deleted his own account, and a decidedly insane member, Eriorguez, said that it was Barry's fault for apparently using some form of magic to make Hobo delete his own account.

Hobo still posts, and currently has a vendetta against Barry's lapdog, Twilight Master Sva.

Barry finds this very funny, and has frequently asked Hobo to follow through with his threats. HH finds this equally funny, as Barry makes out he is mature, but then ends up butchuring a Wiki page that Hobo would probably never see.

Hobo is disliked, or inshadow6000's case just disliked,save for General MMS, the newer members, Blackarms, and Eriorguez, mostly because he's awesome.

HH has recently gone back to the Shadow the Hegehog GameCube Boards on GameFAQs, and has taken up refuge at the Creative Side.

Board RPGs

There are currently THREE active RPGs on the BAS forum.

Shadows of the Past: Created by Twilight Master Sva. Users Shadowoffire123 and Sva are currently the only dedicated posters, however Barry is known to have a character who commits the occasional tomfoolery. Fantasy/Sonic the Hedgehog universe.

Metropolis of Nightmares: Created by Barry. Suprisingly serious, especially for somebody like Barry. Barry and Herbiethegrunt provide most of the plot. Shadowoffire123 is the only non-serious player in the RPG at this time. Survival Horror.

The Dimensional Nightmare: Created by Shadowoffire123. This RPG has little comedic value, the funniest thing in it being the Sonic Character Omochao telling the characters how to jump. At the same time, Shadowoffire123's RPG isn't really all that serious, giving it no definite genre.
