Claudia is a young woman in a hurry to return to the hospital bedside of her dying grandmother. Tommy is a young guy on his way to elope with his girlfriend Francesca and rescue her from the physical abuse by her drunken father who he attempts to kill. Karl is a husband and father who has a dead woman in his apartment that must be removed from his apartment before his sister-in-law and daughter get there. All three are stuck in an elevator.
