Sam and Fuzzy is a webcomic . The comic has been on the web since 2001 and publishes Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. There are currently over 400 strips in the comic archive. Sam and Fuzzy is drawn by hand with a distinctive black and white style, utilizing heavy lines and dark shadows.

, and Fuzzy, his roommate. Fuzzy is a small bear-like creature who is known for his ninja connections and his ability to cause trouble and engage in quick get-rich schemes. He is now working at the bookstore in order to pay back damages and get his old job back, although it is uncertain whether he will return to his old job if and when he manages to save enough money to pay for the wrecked taxi.

The comic has delved into many odd storyline scenarios in the past. A possessed fridge, the secretive "Ninja Mafia", and a series of mysterious cab-driving adventures have all found their way into the cast's lives. Fuzzy has also shown a limited capability for time travel, only returning 24 hours into the past. For reasons that were never explained, "Future Fuzzy" always wears a sombrero. Most recently, Sam has started dating a woman with a mysterious past.

The webcomic is a member of the popular Dayfree Press group, which includes other popular webcomics such as Theater Hopper, Able and Baker, and White Ninja Comics. Although Sam and Fuzzy is less well-known than some other online comics, the site has been linked to by well-known artists such as John Allison, creator of Scary Go Round. Sam Logan has also been involved in a friendly yet bitter online rivalry with Jeph Jacques, creator of Questionable Content.

The characters

Sam - One of the two main characters in the comic. Sam, who is (presumably) a 20-something human, works in a bookstore. Formerly, Sam worked as a taxicab driver for X-per-S taxis, although a dangerous mission cost Sam both his taxi and his job.
Fuzzy - Fuzzy is Sam's roommate - a short bear like creature. Fuzzy is known for his great propensity to sway between extremes of , namely communism and capitalism.
Future Fuzzy - A sombrero adorned version of the above. His appearance in the comic is always accompanied by an onomatopoetic "FWOOSH!!!".

The Fridge - Sam's fridge was previously posessed by demonic forces, which may or may not have been a result of the electricity being cut off. The demonic force
Butcher - Butcher is a stray cat that was taken in by Sam, and first appeared near the very beginning of the comic's run. Butcher, despite appearing to be in a permanent vegetative state, appears to have delisions of Kitty grandeur... and spatula's.

Skull Panda - Skull Panda was first created by Fuzzy, when looking for a character "that will appeal to alienated youths, and wannabe social outcasts". Although after this 'creation' Skull Panda appears to have become a wholly autonomous character. In his first incarnation it was firmly established that skull panda loves kitties. The only known language of the panda is constructed by the repetition of the phrase "Narn".

Skull panda has also been a protagonist in the ongoing feud between Sam Logan and Jeph Jaques - having killed the latters main Questionable Content character, Marten, my implanting a broken CD into his eye sockets, and hacking him to death with an Arcade Fire CD.
