Blair Effron is an American financier. As of 2004 he is vice chair of UBS Investments. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and was a prominent supporter of John Kerry's 2004 campaign for the presidency.

Effron left UBS Investment Bank in 2006 to form his own private equity venture called Centerview Partners. Effron retained several UBS bankers who worked under him to form the new firm. However, UBS announced one of the largest buyouts in 2006 just one month after his departure (the $15 billion buyout of Harrah's Entertainment Inc.) displaying outstanding strength in the group even after Blair's departure.
