Welcome to BleedinEdge, or "BE" as it is affectionately called. Whether you visit for the first time, a regular lurker, or a new member, you are always welcome.

About BleedinEdge

BE is a site dedicated to hardcore computing. It is a community for overclockers, modders and enthusiasts. It was built by them and built for them. This is a member's site, a place to hang out, to learn, to teach, to experiment, to test, to play, to build friendships. It is a place were people who are interested in this sort of thing can come and learn without hassle, where newcomers to the enthusiast's world are encouraged and taught. We are proud of the community we have created, and proud of our members who make BleedinEdge the great site it is.

About Our Community

Our community is the heart of BE, and our members make it what it is. There would not be a BE if it wasn't for our members, and we aim to thank them by making our community the best possible. Our regular members include some of the best, most knowledgeable, and even famous enthusiasts around. We thrive on community involvement and welcome novices and pros like no other community on the Web. We are proud of our helpful, friendly members and promote a great atmosphere to learn, to help and to make friends. We encourage you to Become A Member (it's FREE!), then drop by and post in our Introduce Yourself forum to see for yourself!

Meet The BleedinEdge Crew

Snafu - Administrator - is a Canuckistanian born in the sixties so it is no surprise that pharmaceuticals are involved in his day job. Good thing too as it pays the bills for his other hobbies which usually involve music, and anything involving a tool or a motor - when there is time away from computers. If not surfing the net he's being chased to do something around the house or to get off line so someone can use the phone.

Mikki - Webmaster/Designer - is thirty something and is currently hanging out in sunny Florida. Aside from computers, his interests include family and friends, German cars, guitar and piano, football, soccer, rally racing and watching (and critiquing) films. We're certain he does something important here at BE, we just haven't exactly figured out what that is.

sodface - Administrator/Programmer - loves computers, music, diet coke, and his wife and daughter... not necessarily in that order! He builds server racks for the U.S. Navy during the day and tinkers with code by night - usually very late at night - so if the site is ever down when you come by, chances are it's something he did, but just give him a sec, he's usually only a copy and paste away from putting it back the way it was. Keep an eye out for his posts as they really illustrate his keen grasp of the obvious.

Tony (aka bigtoe) - Site Consigliore - is an over worked memory guru who has turned his hand to helping fellow overclockers and tweakers. He works now for OCZ technology promoting their products and customer service in between modding bios files and finding new ways to get the most bang for the buck from motherboards. He’s also trying to find time to do a few reviews for BE also.

Hawk - Moderator/Lead Reviewer - works way too much, an avid SCUBA diver, computer designer, and owner of his own company, his experience is bar none. When he is not tweaking his machines and making them smoke, you can always find him walking on the beach. That's if he's not at a 'Bronx Bombers' Game!

Jim - Moderator/Reviewer - ( P ) Pronunciation Key (jim)
n.
1: One who engages in overclocking of computer hardware. ie looks for smoke.
2: One who's top interests include wife, daughter and family. Sub interest: Carolina Panthers and the BleedinEdge.
3. One satisfied with a good BBQ with friends, watching my daughter grow, the occasional vacation, and a taste of the good life.

glorfy - Moderator/Reviewer - a mild mannered bakery manager by day, computer geek, destroyer of hardware by night. AMD owner with a penchant for sub zero cooling and an empty wallet.

nutcase - Moderator/Reviewer - blurb to be created

flexkill - Moderator/Reviewer - blurb to be created

RotorHead - Honorary Crew Member - was a Helicopter Mechanic with over 18 years experience. His passion for modding was an immense benefit to BleedinEdge. He was also the leader of the BE Folding Team. He was a great man, father, husband, and friend. We'll miss him always.
