== Bloodbastard - The Band ==
In the winter of 2002 a
new metal band was born from the ashes of ‘Lost Euphoria’ (doom
metaSander B., Patrick and Sander V. continued and started playing
an intense and aggressive mix of death/hardcore/grindcore with horror/gore lyrics and without any
fancy nonsense. Bloodbastard - The story
The rehearsal-shed was built in the area where a
local tragedy took place between 1835 and 1847.
Several dreadful murders were committed by a poet-worker
and three of his sons known as ‘the Bloodbastards'. In
the winter of 1847 Willem van Henneberg and one of his sons were
literally torn apart by an outrageous group of men. Three of his
other sons were able to escape from the massacre.
The remains were
fed to the dogs. The three sons that could escape were never seen
again, although some claim they’ve seen them in a German village
nearby the border. It all started in 1835 when several young
people, aged between 19 and 28, started disappearing in
Hollandscheveld, a small village in the
north of the Netherlands. In these days life was hard, people were
very poor, worked their bodies to the bone or actually died from
hunger. So at first no one really noticed the disappearings because
people might have left in search for a better life. But when a
seven year old boy found the bodies of two of the missing persons
people knew something was wrong, especially because the bodies
seemed half eaten! So every now and then corpses were discovered,
all of them were mutilated and affected. Also young people were
still disappearing so people got scared… For a few years(!) they
didn’t leave their houses when it got dark outside. They were all
scared of what they started calling ‘the Bloodbastard, a hideous
demon, they thought, that came from hell in search for young
flesh’. In the year 1842 already seventeen bodies were found and
twelve were still missing. But then ‘the demon’ made a mistake…On a
cold winter morning in 1842 the Vos family heard noises around the
house, sounds of chains and men screaming. The next moment four men
barged into the house, one of the men immediately killed the father
with an axe. It took him four times to hit the head. Now the mother
was slaughtered by some kind of meat hook shaped tool. The man with
the axe also killed two of the oldest children that wanted to help
their parents. Three children were alive (aged sixteen, twenty and
twenty-two), they were chained by the other two men while their
relatives were killed.
The man that killed the mother raped the
corpse. The 'bastards' ran off into the cold winter morning with
their new gain. Bad luck for them, one of the children miraculously
survived the slaughter. With his last strength, bleeding from
severe wounds caused by cutting, he tried to warn the neighbours.
He succeeded and soon an angry horde marched for blood to the
Henneberg’s house. In the house they did not find them, but what
they díd find was awful… Bodies were hanging everywhere…. Heads…
limbs…. Genitals! There were bowels in jars, blood on the ceiling…
Many fainted or puked their guts out. This had to be the porch of
hell… At that time Willem and his sons arrived with the three
children. As they saw the people they immediately ran away, but
sorry for them… You already know what happened next. The three ‘Vos
children’ were not yet been killed because the bloodbastards were
quarrelling about which one of them was to do the killing! After
twelve years it was over! We know now that the Bloodbastards at
first only killed in the fields. But the winter of 1842 was very
long so they ran ‘out of food’ (no one went outside these cold
days). They were forced to get it elsewere, fortunately it was
their first and last inside-killing…
