"Bloodrocuted" is the fourth song by the fictional death metal band Dethklok from their debut album The Dethalbum which the real-life artists; Brendon Small and heavy metal drummer Gene Hoglan have arranged, recorded and composed. It was first mentioned in the episode Dethfam right before the show goes into the "Theme Song".

Music video

A music video of the song has been released on the adult swim website<ref>http://www.adultswim.com/video/?episodeID=8a25c39215386c97011538d3ae030008</ref> and [adult swim] announced, before the premiere of Dethecution, that the Bloodrocuted music video is going to get rotation on MTV. It is also available on iTunes for $1.99 on the Dethalbum.

Video plot

The video shows a young fan/electrician of Dethklok (shown wearing a Dethklok t-shirt) running and finding an artifact that looks like Facebones. After finding it, his body turns blue and his hair turns white. He is chased by soldiers of the Tribunal until he is backed into an alley and shot by the soldiers. He then gains a helmet and turns into a seeming god-like creature coursing with lightning called the "Bloodrocuter" (as seen on the Tribunal's television screen). He holds out his hands which shoot an electrified geyser of blood at the soldiers effectively "Bloodrocuting" them. After the soldiers are dead the video ends with Nathan Explosion standing and jumping off of a high mountain and the Bloodrocuter flying up through the air as if they are to meet. They don't meet however as Nathan lands with the rest of the Dethklok band leaving the Bloodrocuter to sit on a throne alone among dozens of floating stones. Throughout the music video clips are shown of Dethklok playing with lightning shooting through them and their instruments.

Song plot

The song tells of an electrician whose identity gets confused with that of a dangerous criminal, and is then found and chased through a forest by mercenaries. While in the forest, the electrician flashes back to his high school biology class and remembers that blood conducts electricity because of the hemoglobin (an iron containing oxygen-transport metalloprotein in the red blood cells) it contains. He then comes up with a plan to kill the mercenaries, he leads them to an electrical generator and cuts his arms to pool blood on the floor and on the electrical power lines. When the mercenaries arrive, they are electrocuted ("bloodrocuted") and die on the spot. However, the electrician is unable to stop his arms from bleeding and dies of blood loss.
