The Bloodscalp tribe of Jungle Trolls call steamy Stranglethorn Vale their home. These trolls are among the last vestiges of the former empire of the Gurubashi trolls. Currently the Bloodscalps make their home in and around the Gurubashi ruins in in the northern reaches of the jungle. Their main seat of power in the jungle are the expansive Ruins of Zul'Kunda. The Bloodscalp tribe also has holdings in the Zuuldaia Ruins on the western coast and the Bal'lal Ruins and Tkashi Ruins to the southeast. The tribe is led by the bloodthirsty Gan'Zulah and his witch doctor second-in-command, Nezzliok the Dire. Gan'Zulah and the Bloodscalps were accused by the Darkspear tribe of kidnapping one of their chieftains' sons, Yenniku.

The American Bloodscalp server is home to the PvE guild The Madness, and PvP guild NoMaMM (recently transferred from the Blackrock server). Long time guild Heavy Hitters joins IFNT and The Madness as the only guild on the server with orange (legendary) items. Ragni of Heavy Hitters, and Brolli of The Madness have Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windwaker. Dashy of IFNT has the Hand of Raganaros.
