The Blue Buffalo was one of Kikaida's strongest oppositions. He made his first appearance in episode 4 where Kikaida defeated him. He was then restored in episode 14 to test the Silver Tortoise's strength where he was destroyed again. His primary weapon was the "Buffalo Missle."


Height Was 198 cm (approx 6.5 feet), and Weighed 105 kg (approx 231 pounds)

Due to Kikaida's popularity in the state of Hawaii. The Punahou Schools Named their sports teams and mascot the "Buffanblu" in honor of the Blue Buffalo.

The Running of the Buffalo

The tradition started the year the BuffanBlu was established, the festivities would include the annual Punahou carnival, with various rides, food and activities. The main attraction is the the Running of the Buffalo, where the larger students of the school are voted to dress up as the mascot and chase the students in an obstacle course.<ref>http://yahoo.com/punahouschools/history.html</ref>

Near cancellation of The Running

In 2002 The annual running was called to a stop and faced permanent cancellation after senior Jason Endo-Chun was run over by the mascot run by Siole Matufa'a, the All-State Defensive End for Punahou Football Athletics. Jason Endo-Chun suffered a open-bone fracture but wanted the run to continue. He rallied the student body to allow the continuation, and during graduation, in honor of his courage and school spirit Jason Endo-Chun was awarded a plaque and graduated with honors with a 3.8.
