The 'Blue Ribbon Soundworks' is a digital audio editor company in the United States. It was acquired by Microsoft on October 16, 1995, and merged its technology with DirectSound.[1] The company was also known for Bars&Pipes, a series of music sequencer software packages written for the Amiga.
