Robert Dayle "Bob" Aagard was born on
February 14,
1979, to Grant and Cyndi Aagard in
Salt Lake City,
Utah. He grew up in the
Sugarhouse Neighborhood of
Salt Lake City until
November 29,
1990, when his family moved to
Holladay,
Utah.
Bob attended
Uintah Elementary,
Olympus Jr High, and
graduated from
Olympus High School in
1997. He subsequently attended
Salt Lake Community College for
a brief time.
Bob served as a
missionary for
The Church of
Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the
Minnesota Minneapolis Mission
from 1998-2000.
The past two years, Bob has become politically
active. He founded the group
Mormons for Dean in
2003. In
2004, he served as the campaign secretary for his
friend
Shaun
Kruger, who was running as a
republican for
Salt Lake
County Council. Later that year, he spent numerous hours
volunteering for
Democratic candidates, including
Peter Corroon. In
2005, Bob ran for secretary of
the
Salt Lake County Democratic
Party, a race in which he lost. He is getting active in
Pete Ashdown's
campaign for the
U.S. Senate, and contributes to 3
blogs.
He currently is employed as a
substitute teacher in the
Granite
School District and works as a Guest Services usher at the
Delta
Center.

Sarah Marilee Aagard
