Bob Style was born in
Aachen,
Germany in
1978.
The young artist travelled to the
United States frequently to learn from American musicians in
Nashville and throughout the country and has also performed in
Singapore,
Thailand,
Indonesia and of course in
Europe.
He has also been nominated for the
Horizon Award of a magazine.
Style first appeared at the
Oklahoma Opry in 2003 after he was voted one of the best 10 contestants at the televised
Nashville Star tryouts in Oklahoma and Georgia.
He could also be seen on American networks like ABC, CBS, CNN and USA and in 2005 he had two consecutive numer one-hits on the Radio Starlet (a private station) country
charts.
In early 2006 Style's original song "Becky's Song" was vote "song of the year" by the Radio Starlet listeners.
Bob Style released a live album in 2006, named "Countryfied - LIVE in the USA!", which proves his exceptional showmanship and entertainment skills.
This album was the first CD ever that combines a live recording by a German artist in the United States with an enhanced video section.
Bob also holds a Masters degree in Musicology, where he specialized in American Country Music.
In 2006 Bob Style announced that he will retire from touring to accept contracts on cruise ships.
He has performed on a ship for 7 months in 2006 and will also play on the high seas for 10 months in 2007.
