Booker and Hawk is a cult comedy series made by Wildfire Productions. Created by Paul Farquharson, Dan Stevens and Glen Kirkup, it is a parody of the buddy cop genre and revolves around the misdemeanors of 3 bungling cops.

Following an initially awful 4-part series made for TV, a finalised script has been completed and shooting is currently underway for a 40-odd minute film encompassing all the original material.

The show's stars are:

Glen Kirkup as Slick Rick - Despite not being the show's central character, he inevitably falls into the character of protagonist. A 'supposedly' expert detective who left the police force to fight in Vietnam, actually an idiot.

Jack as Ace Booker - Good looking, charismatic and the real brains behind Fareham's police operation.

Paul Farquharson as JC Hawk - Ace booker's personality-less partner. One of the most flat and boring characters of the series, but handles himself well in a fight.

Joe Lowndes as Hounde Dogg - One of the nemeses of JC and Ace, a crazed ex-university professor.

Dom Stafford as Adrienal Rodrigumez - The Spanish Myspace Pervert. 15-year old girls beware.

Nyikayedu Madziya as Black Ninja - He's black. And a ninja.

The story

Crime is rife in Fareham, Hampshire. The Chief is at his wits end. Hotshot detectives JC Hawk and Ace Booker are failing to keep on top of things. So what does he do? He brings an old detective out of retirement. And not just any old detective.. he decides to bring back Slick Rick, the man that used to be the town's hero. Now an alcoholic tramp, living on the streets following a short service in the Vietnam war. Will Slick Rick ever give up the drink? Will JC and Ace ever get control of crime in Fareham? Only time will tell.

Full character bios

JC Hawk

Hawk joined the force from reading about the heroic exploits of Slick Rick in the local newspaper. He excelled in police academy and was immediately placed at the rank of detective. Teamed up with hotshot maverick Ace Booker who saw potential in him after Slick Rick went AWOL, JC is a modest master of the oriental fighting arts.

Ace Booker

Voted sexiest police officer of the year in 1965, Ace Booker's long career in law enforcement is almost as legendary as Slick Rick's, who was his original partner and taught him everything he knew. Teamed up with JC Hawk for the last three weeks, they are failing to stop Jace Hooker from carrying out his most recent crime spree.

Chief

The chief was hand picked for the job after a distinguished career in the Royal Air Force. One of the original dam busters, he gained American citizenship and joined their air force just so he could be the one to drop the bomb on Nagasaki. Fired from his position after being the only one to agree with General MacArthur in the war cabinet in his controversial suggestion to drop a nuclear bomb on China, he joined the local Fareham police force.

Jace Hooker

The evil twin brother of Ace Booker. He was kicked out of police academy after his brother turned him in for illegally procuring whisky on the Mexican border. Bitter and wanting revenge, Jace became the exact opposite of his brother and began his life of crime.

Hounde Dogg

Ace Booker's trusted henchman, Hounde Dogg was a college professor at Oxford University until one day acquiring a very special leather jacket. His fondness for the jacket grew to the point where the symbolism of wearing such a jacket, often displayed in 50's and 60's American cinema, led him to become a hearty criminal and not wear a shirt beneath the jacket. He has never taken the jacket off since purchasing it.

Adrienal Rodrigumez

Adrienal is an illegal immigrant from Mexico. Heavily involved in the whisky smuggling carried out by Jace Hooker during his brief stint in police academy, he joined with Jace the moment he turned to a full life of crime. His speciality is theft and black market dealing, with a focus on 'specials from nike city'. Most of Jace's equipment was procured by Adrienal, and he continues to work behind the scenes and undercover for Jace.

Black Ninja

The black man with no respect for the man. Black ninja was raised by an army colonel from Zimbabwe who forced him to stay inside working on Visual Basic for as long as 18 years. He despises Slick Rick, who was always allowed outside of house a child. Using Visual Basic he engineered, designed and manufactured a cyborg stealth suit giving him super strength. A master of swordplay, he rarely speaks.
