BortnerAnimation.com is an animation website featuring three cartoons called Zunii & Friends, The Mauer Family, and Kevin done by Jordan, Taylor, and Weston Bortner. There are also games, downloads, and fan mail.

Zunii & Friends

Zunii & Friends is the cartoon created by Jordan Bortner. He does the voice of each of the characters: Zunii, Cargul, NLC, and Lief. Zunii is a little fuzzy creature that doesn't speak english very well. Cargul is a circular yellow homosexual man. NLC is a boring character who is a cloud of gas. His name isn't an acronym, by the way. Lief is a retarded....leaf. You'll notice that he never blinks. You can find out more on their character pages. Zunii came from a drawing of a fuzzy thing with no arms, hands, legs, or neck, but with big feet. For a while, it was debated whether his name would be spelled Zunii, Zuni, Zunni, or Zuny. Eventually Zunii was picked. Cargul was originally Zimmy, a character from the cancelled cartoon, The Adventures of Zimmy, who came to kill Zunii for stealing his spotlight. Later, he was replaced by Cargul, who came from a test game Jordan and Taylor were making just to see if they could make a game. It was never made, but it was called Cargul and the Attack of the Evil Flying Lamps. Before he was considered a gay character, he was a shy, gullible, straight person. Later, Jordan made a game for the TI-83 Plus called Zunii's Toy Box. It was made up of different badly-made games supposedly created by Zunii. There was one game in particular that featured a bad guy named NLC, who was just a collaboration of numbers and symbols, which is where NLC came from. At first, he was evil, and helped Zimmy to kill Zunii. He was also mean to Lief, and tricked Cargul a lot (once Cargul replaced Zimmy), so he was considered the bully character. Then Jordan changed NLC's personality to bland and boring. Lief came from a nickname during Jordan's sophomore year in Algebra 2. Jordan told one of his classmates that his first name wasn't Jordan (it's actually Christopher), and when Jordan wouldn't tell him his real first name, he replied, "So, what, is your first name something crazy, like Lief?", and Lief was born. His personality has been the same ever since he was created.

The Mauer Family

Taylor Bortner created The Mauer Family. In the cartoon, Max, the father figure, has three adopted children named Little Sara, Special Ed, and Maria that he doesn't like very much. Max also has a dad and a nerdy cousin named Taylor, who has two friends named Cody and Michael. Neither Taylor, Cody, or Michael have any kids, but Cody has a girlfriend named Emily. Max has a friend who is a French waiter by the name of Jean-Paul, who doubles as the manager for his restaurant, "Le Moche Merde". So far, there is only one other waiter there, named Jacques. Some of the stranger characters are Tortilla Chalo, Iepore, Jixlov, and Robopore. Tortilla Chalo is a big flying tortilla chip who sells his own brand of tortilla chips, "Tortalinono's Spanish-Mexican style chips". He has a wierd personality and steals things to hide under his hat. Iepore is an alien and is the son of Jixlov, who built a robotic son, Robopore. They live on the planet Spirox. Together the family of three attempts to take over Earth, but since they are so small, they are never even noticed, and usually get kicked around a lot.

Kevin

Kevin is created by Weston Bortner. Each of the characters is a type of sports ball. The show is about Kevin's family and his best friend, Fred. Kevin is a dodgeball and has an older brother in college named Matt who is also a dodgeball. He has a dad named Frank, who is a basketball, and a mom named Heather, who is a tennis ball. Frank is athletic, friendly, and laid-back, but Heather is over-protective and is hesitant to let Kevin play outside. Fred is a football and spends most of his time playing with Kevin. Kevin's grandparents are Bill, Valerie, Tom, and Jane. They are slightly deflated due to their old age. Bill is a basketball, Valerie is a dodgeball, Tom is a baseball, and Jane is a volleyball. This cartoon was made soon before the cancelment of "The Luigi, Yoshi, and Toad show". Weston had to create a new cartoon for him to stay on the website. In enters Kevin. After only 2 weeks after Kevin came out, "The Luigi, Yoshi, And Toad show was cancelled. Since then describtions of the characters changed. Fred , Kevin's best friend, was at first going to be Kevin's cousin, later Fred was put into the position of best friend. The show was then made into a cartoon about two kids going through a slightly odd life. Yet one way or the other, Kevin and Fred always face their problems together.

Cancelled Cartoons

The Luigi, Yoshi, and Toad Show was created by Weston Bortner and featured many Nintendo characters. It was cancelled because if BortnerAnimation.com released products, there couldn't be any The Luigi, Yoshi, and Toad Show products for legal reasons. It was cancelled soon after BortnerAnimation.com started and was replaced with Kevin.

The Adventures of Zimmy was a cartoon created by Jordan Bortner about a stick figure named Zimmy and his best friend, Starstick. There were over 150 characters in this cartoon, but it was cancelled because Jordan didn't want to make two cartoons. It was cancelled at the end of June 2005.
