The Boston Blizzard are an inactive team of the ABA.

The team was previously known as the Boston United Eagles before an ownership change.

2007-08 season

The Blizzard started play at the Alfreda Harris Gymnasium in Roxbury, Massachusetts. Attendance was low. In midseason, the team moved its home court to the gymnasium of Framingham State College. Tickets were sold to most games, and youth groups were occasionally present and were given activities at halftime.

The Blizzard achieved a regular-season record of 8-17. The ABA announced a one-game playoff between the Blizzard and Jersey Express for the eighth playoff spot. This game was not played, and the eighth spot was filled by an ad-hoc team combining players from three squads.

Most of the Blizzard's rivals in the Northeast U.S. jumped to the Premier Basketball League at the end of this season.

2008-09 season

The Blizzard did not play in 2008-09, but reportedly is seeking to return to play in 2009-10.
