Boy Better Know is a British grime crew and record label established by the Adenuga brothers, Jamie (JME) and Joseph Jr. (Skepta). They are famously rivalled with Wiley's Roll Deep Crew, although some members are featuring in both. JME has trademarked Boy Better Know for future sales including the famous T-Shirts. JME has ceased on new sales of clothing until a matter with a wasteman e-Bay trader has been concluded.

Biography

Boy Better Know was established by grime artists and brothers, JME and Skepta. They are preparing a new album tentatively titled V.I.P. for release in Spring 2010. The first single from the album, "Too Many Man (We Need More Girls in Here)", was released on the 25th May 2009 [1] and is also featured on both Wiley and Skepta's albums, Race Against Time and Microphone Champion respectively. The song was written because of Skepta's annoyance over 'the lack of women in clubs'. It was played on Channel AKA, MTV Base, MTV Dance and BBC 1Xtra and entered the UK Singles Chart on 6 June 2009 at #97, reaching #79 the next week.[2] The second single from the album V.I.P titled Goin' In was released for download on iTunes on 14th December 2009.

Boy Better Know have featured on songs by other notable grime artists such as Chipmunk, Tinie Tempah, and others. They feature on the remix of Stay by Jay Sean, who Skepta has worked with in the past with the song Lush on Skepta's Microphone Champion.
