Boyce
Cummings is a contemporary visual artist based in New York City. He
was Born in 1973 in Denver Colorado. After attending The School of
the Art Institute of Chicago, he moved to New York and completed a
post graduate degree program at The School of Visual Arts (S.V.A).
In 2002, he earned a Masters of Fine Art. He has maintained
residence and a studio in NYC since 1996. Boyce has exhibited his
paintings, drawings and sculpture In exhibitions both in America
and abroad. In 2005/2006 Cummings was awarded the much coveted ROME
PRIZE. The Artist was afforded a painting studio and residence for
himself and his wife in Rome Italy for the duration of one year.
After his fellowship he returned to New York where he continues
live and create work.
