Brainshark is software used to create, manage, and deliver more effective sales and marketing communications, online training, learning modules and more. With no advanced multimedia authoring knowledge, a business user can easily leverage engaging on-demand communications within their business processes. Brainshark also incorporates content created with popular multimedia authoring tools such as Macromedia Flash, Macromedia Captivate, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Macromedia Acrobat, LiveMeeting, Webex, Podcast and many other media formats.

Brainshark delivers this rich media content and provides the content owner with intelligence about the viewer’s interaction with the content. The content owner can see and be notified with reports about who viewed, for how long, and how much of the content was viewed for more effective sales, marketing, and training programs.

Brainshark consists of five components.

• Brainshark Presentations

• Brainshark Rapid Learning

• Brainshark Sales Campaigns

• Brainshark Express

• CRM Integration with Salesforce.com

The term “Brainshark” is also used to describe the transformation of content into an on-demand or online delivery mechanism. “Brainshark this presentation and send it to the sales force.”
