Brandon Adamson is an American singer/songwiter located in Phoenix, Arizona.

He released his first album "Springtime in Paris" in 2004 on Uncharted Records, and a second album in 2005 titled "Bright Colors That Fade". He is most notable for his unapologetically low production values and minimalist pop songs.

Brandon Adamson began recording music in 1996 when he moved to Phoenix. Not knowing anyone and bored, he often resorted to writing songs "about reruns of shows on TV" such as "Melrose Place" and "WKRP in Cincinnati". These low quality recordings were distributed as cassette tapes on Tempe's famed Mill Avenue to random people and mailed to indie and major labels.

From 1999-2001 Adamson lived in Los Angeles trying to obtain work as an actor. His only known success was landing a small spot in a commercial for GAP Clothing which was filmed during the SAG commercial acting strike of 2000 and which were directed by Mike Mills.

In 2004 Brandon released his first full length CD "Springtime In Paris", that he describes as "pretty bad but remarkably sincere", which has since become something of a cult classic. No-Fi Magazine described it as: this album is cheesy, but almost cheesy in a good way. The Phoenix New Times ran a story on Brandon Adamson in March of 2005 in which they could not believe he was serious. Adamson says much of his work is a protest against the "obsessive" focus on production both in music and film, and what he perceives as an annoying trend away from anything interesting or sincere anywhere.

Brandon's musical releases have utilized a wide range of musical instruments: lo-fi keyboards, digital piano, Rhodes, flute, acoustic guitar, though many songs generally contain only one instrument at a given time.

Adamson's critics often cite his poor production values and lack of technical music proficiency as well as his often shrewd tendency to release tracks while leaving in obvious imperfections. Fans admire his minimalistic style, creativity, sincerity, and the often surprisingly clever lyrics to his unique and (perhaps annoyingly) catchy songs.
