Branimir Kostadinov (Bulgarian: Бранимир Костадинов) (born March 4, 1989) is a football forward from Bulgaria currently playing for Chernomorets (Pomorie) in the East B PFG.

Career

Branimir's first club was Slavia Sofia. He was Top Scorer for Slavia, before he moved to the youth squads of Austrian LASK Linz in 2006.After scoring 19 goals in 22 games for Lask,and 3 goals for Bulgaria U17 in a 4:0 win against Austria in UEFA European Under-17 Football Championship qualifying round he moved to Scotland.On 1 January 2007,at the age of 17, Kostadinov signed first professional contract, for three years, with Scotland Heart of Midlothian. In season 2007-08 he was part of the first team pre-season in Germany,where he scored his first senior goal for the club in a 2-1 defeat to BV Cloppenberg.After that,he played for Hearts U-19 in 2007-2008. In the next 2008-09 season Kostadinov played in reserve squad of Hearts.He also has 10 friendly games with the first team and 3 goals.On the 10th March, he went on trial with Manchester City.

Chernomorets

After the end of 2008-09 season Kostadinov was released by Hearts alon with many other players and returned to Bulgaria. He had been invited by Chernomorets Burgas to join trial period, which began on June 2, 2009.

On 15 June Kostadinov played for the reserve squad in a match against Vihren. He scored two goals and provided three assists in a 6-0 win.

A few days later, on 20 June, Kostadinov signed a three year contract with Chernomorets Burgas. He will play in the satellite club of Chernomorets - PFC Chernomorets (Pomorie)

National Team

Kostadinov is top scorer in Group 3 in 2006 UEFA European Under-17 Football Championship qualifying round with 3 goals.He is also a part of Bulgaria U19 at the 2008 European Under-19 Championship in Czech Republic. For Bulgaria U19, he was capped 35 times, scoring 9 goals.

Branimir Kostadinov ( ) (born on 4 March 1989 in Veliko Tarnovo) is a Bulgarian footballer currently playing for Hearts FC. He is a central forward.

Career


Branimir Kostadinov begun to played football in Slavia Sofia. On 15-years old gone in LASK Linz`s Youth Academy. One year later gone in Hearts FC`s Youth Academy.

    In 2008 Branimir Kostadinov signed first professional contract with Hearts FC.

    From 2006 Kostadinov played for Bulgaria national under-19 football team. With the team he qualified on 2008 UEFA European Under-19 Football Championship in Czech Republic.

    Playing style


    A creative forward who often makes unpredictable moves. He prefers being near the goalkeeper, and making chances for his teammates as well to finish the atacks himself.
