Brasiliopuntia is a genus in the cactus family Cactaceae.

It comes from center of Brasil, north of Argentina, east of Bolivia, east of Peru.

Description

Brasiliopuntia shows thin, slightly shrunken cladodes on a central cylindrical trunk. The leaves are bright green.

White areoles bear one or two little brown spines upright.

Light brown flowers appear only on adult plants.
