BraxtanFILM is a small production company based in Denver, Colorado. It was founded in 2003 by director Hank Braxtan when he purchased the rights to the domain name www.braxtanfilm.com. Since its inception, BraxtanFILM has produced dozens of short films, fan films, and parodies; the most famous being Freddy VS Ghostbusters and Four More Years of Vader. Freddy VS Ghostbusters has enjoyed enormous online success, and continues to grow its own fan base to this day; the film eventually landed Braxtan on the Internet Movie Database.

Steadily building a small fan base over the years, the goal of the company is to make it as professional filmmakers. This process has been long and trying, while being cheered and inspired by a cult following.

BraxtanFILM currently consists of director Hank Braxtan, producer Scott Douglas, Actor J. Michael Weiss, writer Andy Branscom, director of photography Drew Adams, and gaffer Anthony Cafaro. Although the primary core remains in Denver, they regularly work with several local Denver filmmakers in addition to dozens of other artists around the world via the internet.

Their latest film "Return of the Ghostbusters" remains in production and may be one of the largest fan collaborations ever assembled.

Although they may appear to be all about fan films, the comedy group insists their intent is to eventually create an original feature film that will hopefully receive North American distribution.
