David Obi Sr. (known by his nickname Bredda David) is an Afro-Belizean musician, known as the creator of Kungo music, a variant of punta.
His fifth album, Stronger, was released in 2005.
Bredda David was born and raised in Stann Creek District, Belize.
He became a musician sometime in the early 1990s and has a number of local popular hits based on his brand of music, a funkier version of the more popular Punta.

Obi and Beulah Heusner bore son David Obi Jr., aka Ras Indio, on September 23, 1976 in Los Angeles.
Indio has released four albums and shares the musical talent of his father.
