The name BRI BayresRitz International first appeared in Buenos Aires in the 1930’s, when a French immigrant family settled in Argentina and founded the property management firm. The firm acquired lands in Long Champs, and properties in the city of Buenos Aires by then in the 1940’s the properties were inherited and managed by Antonia Amélie Levieux de Picquiny, daughter of the late Hippolyte Paul-Lyon Levieux de Chayoux and Madame Louise de Picquiny.
Mrs. Levieux gave the firm a distinctive turn by conducting numerous humanitarian projects helping the less favored people of the province of Buenos Aires by providing housing and supplies. She was also instrumental in the development of educational and coaching programs for single mothers and widows in partnership with the Lyons Rotary Club and other local NGO’s. Her legacy carried on along way after her death in 1978; in 1998 her grandson Dr Vito Louis de Candia-Levieux re-energized the organization by integrating the firm efforts with rural education in South and North America in association with CIDA the Canadian International Development Agency. The combination of the new projects and the new in-house knowledge / experience culminated in the re-design of the organization becoming in 2004 a Human Capital solutions firm with offices in Vancouver Canada and Buenos Aires Argentina.
