Brian Ang (born April 5, 1986), based in Davis, California is an Americansinger-songwriter and poet.
He is a 2008 graduate of the of the University of California, Davis, majoring in English with a creative writing emphasis.
He is an active musician on the Davis scene, performing at a variety of local venues.
More recently, he has focused more on his poetry.
He was a poetry editor for the 2007 version of the Davis literary magazine Produce.Poetry awards include first place in the UC Davis Pamela Maus Creative Writing Contest in Poetry in 2008, second place in the same contest in 2007, and a UC Davis Undergraduate Fellowship from their Tomales Bay Workshop program.
He is also a DJ on the Davis college radio station KDVS, hosting the Sunday evening program Farewell Transmission.
