Brian Cook, (born 1977) who grew up in Washington, was the bassist in Botch. Since Botch's break-up he has played in Roy, Onalaska, and These Arms Are Snakes along with former members of Killsadie & nineironspitfire. He played the bass on the recording of The Mouth of the Architect's The Ties That Blind.

He currently resides in Seattle, Washington with his partner Reno.

He is the cousin of famous Minneapolis bicycle addict and climber Liz Horn.
