Brian E. Daley, S.J. is the Catherine F. Huisking Professor of Theology at the University of Notre Dame. A scholar in the field of Patristics, Daley's interests include the development of Christological and Trinitarian doctrine, early Scriptural exegesis, and Mariology.[1] He is a former president of the North American Patristics Society and the current executive secretary for the North American Orthodox-Catholic Theological Consultation.[2][3] Daley was also a Rhodes Scholar.
