[2041]His
website
Christian Issues,
was created after he was fired from
Focus on the Family
Ministries for his conspiracy views and subsequent behavior.
He worked for
Focus on the Family Family.org, From May, 1996 to August,
1996 in the mailing services department, from February, 1997 until
September, 1997 in the constituent response department.
After his
termination, he allegedly dressed himself in a devil costume and
picketed outside his former employers office in Colorado Springs,
claiming that founder "Jim Dobson is a useful idiot for the
criminal elite who control the press."
He was asked to be
counseled by the ministry, but in his words "Two days after
self-terminating my job I met with the smug director of the Focus
counseling department. I know full well why this pansy of a man
(Willy Wooten) found my depression amusing and why he questioned my
Christian faith"<ref>See Exit support network ref</ref>
Claims
He has made many claims such as "To state that
the U.S. government was complicit in the attacks that occurred on
September 11, 2001, is a belief not yet held by the general public
who rely on information given to them by a mainstream media that
suppresses the truth."
He further claims on his site that "On
this website I provide verifiable proof that
James Dobson and Focus
on the Family are engaged in a deceitful attempt to cover up
unpleasant news in order to preserve their image. But the
mainstream media (including journalists who are aware of my
fact-based revelations) will not report the story."
He claims
James Dobson is tied with the Ecumenical movement, seeking to blur
religious differences.
He has publicly stated that "immoral and
illegal U.S. wars into Afghanistan and Iraq" are not to be
supported, since "The true Church of Jesus Christ is not a warring
vessel"<ref>

He is also known for his
outspoken accusations against
Tom
Papania( an ex-mafia criminal that converted to Christianity
and left his life of crime behind )due to Papania's appearance on
widely syndicated Focus on the Family Radio.
He also claims that
the Bush family aided the Nazis, and alleges that Watergate convict
E. Howard Hunt revealed in an audio tape recording to his son that
he was involved in the plot to kill JFK. He also implicates
Lyndon Johnson in the conspiracy. saying "But the
mainstream media was silent on the storyshows" On his site
MafiaMinistry he shows
an alleged photo of what he terms "The Most Revealing Wink of the
20th Century:Congressman Albert Thomas winks at a quickly smiling
Lyndon Johnson in the company of the grieving Mrs. Kennedy "
On
his website he threatens to expose the public to information about
Oliver North, if James dobson continues to affiliate
himself. He states on his
Christian Issues site
"If Dobson and his people want to promote Oliver North and his
books (as they've done) then I'll be sure to raise unanswered
questions about Iran/Contra. I'll use the opportunity to blow the
lid off the major scandals of the 20th and 21st Centuries (though I
expect to receive no coverage from the mainstream media)!"
On
his site, he gives a description of himself: "Brian Karjala is a
Colorado Springs based, independent
Christian discernment
minister, dedicated to advancing the Kingdom of
God.
Karjala lives in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
[Suggested
Corrections: Brian Karjala was born on July 17, 1975. Karjala was
not fired from Focus on the Family for "erratic behavior". He met
briefly with the director of the Focus counseling department to
determine why he self-terminated his job. Karjala claims he "became
depressed and quit his job when he discovered that Focus management
was lying to its employes and to the public about Tom Papania". The
individual who picketed Focus on the Family dressed in a devil
costume was former Focus employee Brian Cooper, not Brian Karjala.
<s>Karjala has many detractors who seek to slander him for
reporting on the fraud of Tom Papania</s>.]
