Brian Nowehre is a former professional musician and owner of Chicago's Nowhere Guitars Etc.[1426] and who upon closing the store in 2003 converted the store's website into a political blog called nowhereweb.com [1427]

nowhereweb.com takes a more cynical and skeptical approach than most other political blogs and has set itself apart from other political blogs such as dailykos.com [1428], boomantribune.com [1429] and redstate.org [1430] by refusing to take part in the blog advertising network; blogads [1431] that these sites utilize to generate revenue.
